Overview
These M&W pallet lifting bars slide into a pallet as a pair and hang from a crane or hoist, which puts pallet handling on overhead equipment; M&W calls it converting the crane into an aerial forklift. They cover pallet picks in yards, over walls, and onto mezzanines where no forklift reaches.
Working load limit is 4,000 lb for the pair, and the set weighs 70 lb, 35 lb per bar. Lifting eyes accept 5/8 in shackles, supplied by others, and M&W's drawing calls for a minimum 45-degree sling angle with the center lifting bail over the load's center of gravity for a level lift. Every set is proof loaded and ships with certification paperwork.
The bars are manufactured from American-forged steel to exceed ASME B30.20 and OSHA regulations, painted safety yellow, and made in the USA. Sold in pairs; shackles and slings are quoted separately.
