Overview
EKKO's EB20E is the lead-acid route to a 4,400 lb stacker: straddle legs carry the load inside the wheelbase and avoid the cost of a counterweighted chassis, in exchange for requiring pallets that fit between the legs (here adjustable 45.5–59.1 in, the widest minimum spread in the line). It lifts 4,400 lb at a 24 in load center to 177 in.
The triple mast closes to 85 in and extends to 198 in. A 24V/210 Ah lead-acid battery feeds a 1.5 kW drive motor and a 3 kW lift motor through a Curtis controller; EKKO's table lists travel at 4.0/4.2 km/h and lift at 92/136 mm/s, laden/unladen. Forks are 45.3 in long, adjustable 9.8–31.5 in; turning radius is 60 in on an 85 in overall length. Service weight is 2,800 lb.
Batteries and the 24V/30 A charger are included, with a 3-year limited warranty. Lead-acid keeps the purchase price down and suits single-shift schedules with overnight charging; the lithium EB20CS models add side shift and opportunity charging for more money.
