Overview
The EB18E is the entry point to powered straddle stacking here: 4,000 lb at a 24 in load center, a 138 in lift, and the simplest power pack in the EB range. Its straddle legs (adjustable 45.5–59.1 in) put the load inside the wheelbase; the pallet must fit between them. That trades the pallet flexibility of a counterbalanced truck for a much lower purchase price.
Two 12V/160 Ah lead-acid batteries in series feed a 3 kW lift motor and a 1.5 kW drive motor; EKKO's table lists 4.0/4.2 km/h travel and 92/136 mm/s lift speed, laden/unladen. The mast closes to 91.3 in and extends to 154 in. Forks are 45.3 in long, adjustable 9.8–31.5 in; turning radius is 60 in, overall length 82 in, and service weight 2,100 lb, the lightest truck in this lineup.
Batteries and the 24V/20 A charger are included, backed by a 3-year limited warranty. This is the configuration for single-shift duty with overnight charging; step to the EB18C lithium models for opportunity charging, or to a counterbalanced EK if closed-bottom pallets are in the mix.
