Overview
The EK13S-177 is a counterbalanced walkie stacker (no straddle legs, so it picks closed-bottom and GMA pallets straight on) with one spec the rest of the line doesn't offer: 59.8 in of free lift. The forks travel their first five feet before the mast begins to extend, which lets it stack inside trailers and under mezzanines that a conventional extending mast would strike.
Capacity is 2,860 lb at a 23.6 in load center, carried to 177 in on a mast that closes to 78.7 in and extends to 214.5 in. The carriage side-shifts and tilts 2°/5°. A 24V/210 Ah battery powers 2.5 kW AC drive and lift motors with electronic power steering and an electromagnetic brake; EKKO rates noise at 70 dB(A). Forks are 45.3 in long, adjustable 8.7–28.4 in.
Battery and charger are included, with a 3-year limited warranty. This is the lead-acid pack in the tall-mast range: a 460 lb battery that favors scheduled overnight charging over lithium's opportunity charging, at a lower price than the 189 in lithium models.
