Overview
The KStrong UFX903010 is a rescue spreader bar: a Y-shaped webbing assembly used with a full body harness or pilot chair to raise and lower a person during rescue. A D-ring at the top connects to the rescue or retrieval system, and both legs end in steel snap hooks that clip to the harness or chair.
The legs are 1.73 in wide polyester webbing with a 5,000 lb breaking strength, sewn with high-tenacity polyester thread; a separator holds the legs apart so the connection stays orderly over the wearer. The snap hooks are alloy steel with a 23 kN breaking strength and a golden yellow galvanized finish. At 3.46 lb, the assembly meets or exceeds ANSI Z359.3-2019.
