Overview
The 4,400 lb PORTA-GANTRY covers the widest range of configurations in REID's portable aluminum gantry system. Two A-frames and a beam bolt together into a freestanding overhead lift point for maintenance bays, pump stations, and confined-space access. REID rates it at 4,400 lb for goods and 2,200 lb for personnel, with fall arrest for up to two users.
Anodized aluminum sections keep transport and erection a two-person job; assembly takes four bolts and no crane. The gantry rolls on 360-degree swivel-locking castors and can be moved under load, subject to REID's competent-person instruction. It is OSHA compliant and ANSI Z359.18-17 compliant for fall protection. Beams and A-frames interchange across the PORTA-GANTRY range as needs change.
Three A-frame sizes (small, intermediate, tall) span eye heights from 5 ft 3 in to 13 ft 4 in, paired with six beam lengths from 8 ft 2 in to 27 ft 6 in.
